Methodology
A disclosed basket, published in full.
The Goldilocks Index 24 (GLI24) is a portfolio-weighted thematic research index that tracks the performance of a disclosed 24-asset reference basket focused on institutional tokenization, real-world-asset infrastructure and the AI/agentic onchain economy. The index is rebased to 100 at inception and is not an investable financial product.
A third party can reproduce the index from the disclosed constituent quantities, timestamps and reference prices. It cannot be derived from a selection rule, because the selection and weighting policy is future work and is labelled as such below.
Construction
How the basket was initialized
The basket was initialized from a disclosed reference portfolio at inception. Quantities remain fixed between documented basket changes.
Inception
Inception date 26 August 2026. Baseline portfolio value USD 4,034.87, inception index value 100.
24 disclosed constituents
24 constituents with fixed reference quantities. Every quantity, reference price and timestamp is published on the Index page and in the CSV export.
Portfolio-weighted at inception
Each constituent's inception weight was its share of the reference portfolio at inception. Those weights were a starting condition, not a target allocation.
Weights are outputs
Current weights are outputs of relative performance, not targets. They drift between documented basket changes and are never reset to a target automatically.
Thesis categories
Every constituent is assigned exactly one editorial thesis category. Categories are editorial metadata maintained by GLI24, not fields returned by the data source.
Future policy — not current rules
Formal eligibility floors, concentration caps, a rules-based selection procedure and a rebalancing schedule are future policy. They are not in force today and the index makes no claim to them.
Category hierarchy
Four main categories communicate the high-level economic role of each holding. The twelve subcategories describe the more specific infrastructure function. Both levels are editorial metadata maintained by GLI24 — they are not CoinMarketCap or API classifications. Category changes are documented in the change log but do not mechanically change reference quantities or the index level.

Calculation
How the level is computed
Index level = ( Σ qi × Pi,t ) ÷ ( Σ qi × Pi,0 ) × 100
- q_i
- Fixed reference quantity of constituent i, unchanged between basket changes.
- P_i,t
- Reference price of constituent i at observation time t.
- P_i,0
- Reference price of constituent i at inception, 26 August 2026.
The denominator is the baseline portfolio value of USD 4,034.87, so the index starts at 100 and moves only with prices between documented basket changes.
CMC20 is indexed to 100 at the same inception date so the two series are directly comparable. The difference between the two levels is relative performance since inception and is expressed in percentage points (pp), never as a percentage.
Cadence
Observation and basket adjustments
Rolling 24h
The live change and constituent returns shown on the site are rolling 24h figures computed against the prior stored observation. They are not the official daily close.
Official observation window
The official daily observation window is 12:00–12:00 Europe/Luxembourg and will use official snapshots.
Official daily close: not yet available
Basket adjustments
Token replacements or quantity changes are basket adjustments, not rebalances. Any adjustment methodology must preserve index continuity so the level does not jump artificially at the moment of the change.
Every adjustment is published in the public change log.

Governance
Change log and oversight
Every basket or methodology change is recorded with its effective date, rationale and the constituents affected, and is published before it takes effect wherever practicable. Emergency changes — such as a delisting, a chain halt or a loss of reliable pricing — may be applied immediately and documented afterwards.
- 26 August 2026Inception. Reference basket initialized with 24 disclosed constituents and fixed quantities, baseline portfolio value USD 4,034.87, index value 100. CMC20 selected as the benchmark and indexed to 100 on the same date.

GLI24 uses the term “index” to describe the calculated performance of its reference basket. It is not a regulated benchmark, benchmark administrator, financial index offered for licensing, or investable product.
