Operation Goldilocks
Goldilocks describes the narrow band in which capital actually moves onchain: enough liquidity to fund building, enough regulatory clarity to let institutions participate, and enough real usage to distinguish infrastructure from narrative. GLI24 is a portfolio-weighted thematic research index built to measure that band rather than to argue about it.
Thesis
What the index is measuring
Two shifts are reorganising market structure at the same time. Institutional tokenization is moving treasuries, credit, funds and payment rails onto programmable settlement. The agentic onchain economy is giving autonomous software its own accounts, payments, data and compute markets.
Both shifts consume the same underlying infrastructure — settlement layers, oracles, custody, capital-market venues. The GLI24 reference basket spans 24 disclosed assets across those roles so the index reads as a measurement of the build-out rather than a bet on a single network.
The index is deliberately narrow. It will underperform a broad benchmark when generic crypto beta leads, and it should outperform when the infrastructure thesis is the thing being priced. Both outcomes are information.
Principles
How we operate
Transparent
The formula, the disclosed basket, the fixed reference quantities, the observation window and the data sources are published. Where a policy is unfinished we label it as future work instead of implying precision.
Portfolio-weighted
The basket was initialized from a disclosed reference portfolio. Quantities stay fixed between documented basket changes and current weights are an output of performance, not a target.
Thesis-led
The universe is not a market-cap screen. Each constituent earns its place through a specific role in tokenized finance or the agentic economy.
Data-conscious
Every figure carries its provenance and freshness. Live, delayed, stale, unavailable and illustrative demo data are always distinguished on screen.
Status
What GLI24 is not
GLI24 is a research publication. It is not a fund, an ETP, a managed account, or any other investable product, and no interest in it is offered or sold. The index cannot be invested in directly. It publishes no execution-grade or tradable price feed. Nothing published here is investment, legal, tax or accounting advice.
GLI24 uses the term “index” to describe the calculated performance of its reference basket. It is not a regulated benchmark, benchmark administrator, financial index offered for licensing, or investable product.
